GRAVESTONES
A custom memorial is a special way to mark the passing of a loved one.
I design each grave to be as unique as the person or pet who has died. It is important that the stone, letterforms, and imagery reflect the spirit of the deceased, which is why I work closely with the bereaved during the design phase. Once finalized, all of the letters and imagery are carved by hand, using nothing more than a mallet and chisel.
Since each grave is unique, so too are the costs involved. The type/size/shape of stone, overall design, complexity of execution, and shipping/installation are all factors for consideration. The graves below, however, should give you a sense of the costs involved. Note the differences for each one. Some have symbolic imagery and dates of birth/death. Others are more simple, with just a name. With all of my commissions, I work according to the clients budget to create a gravestone that is meaningful and lasting.
