On June 12th, 2009, all analog broadcasts switched to digital, marking the end of television static (commonly referred to as snow). Before the transition occurred, I attempted to capture the more beautiful patterns with drawings, etchings, and scratchboards – appropriate black and white mediums. On June 12th, they were shown on a local television station during commercial time slots.
