Snooks satirizes the artist commonly seen at mall kiosks selling drawings
of sports stars, celebrities, and gangsters to the lower classes. Occasionally
he will be hired on commission. By commission, I mean people pay him to
draw their favorite photographs. I don’t understand how a snapshot
of a dead dog suddenly becomes art simply because it’s been slavishly
copied with a pencil. Their websites are often straight out of the mid
90’s, littered with giffs, banner ads and Word Art.
