These five sketchbooks are the earliest examples of my drawing abilities. When I was 5 years old, I filled up my first blue sketchbook so quickly that it prompted my mother to keep an endless supply of blank books coming. Although I had not yet taken a formal art class, my personal development was evident; childhood doodles evolved into fairly accurate renditions of childhood books, video games, and cartoon characters.
