Dehnel & Becht

Dehnel & Becht is a stab at the entire Chelsea art scene: the pretentious dealers, silly artists, and clueless super rich collectors. Each artist mocks a type commonly represented by blue chip galleries - the minimalist, performance artist, feminist, etc. While creating their body of work, I had very real New York artists in mind, which helped when writing about their pseudo-intellectual work.
